Baking Soda Is Your Friend

Too many of us run out to the store to buy all of the latest products. Suprisingly enough, not many people realize just how many natural cleaners we already have in our pantry. Today, we'll cover some of the things baking soda can do for you while saving you money.

1. Put a box in the closet, just like the fridge.
2. Sprinkle some in your sneakers.
3. Adding 3 parts baking soda to one part water makes a wonderful hand cleaner, facial cleaner to exfoliate, you can also clean your tools with it, lawn furniture, pool toys, just about anything.
4. Add a half of a cup of it to a bucket of warm water and clean no wax and ceramic tile floors without scratch marks.
5. Add a half of a cup to the rinse cycle, helps balance pH to get clothes cleaner and it takes care of the musty towel smells.
6. Sprinkle some on a damp towel and use to clean your food prep areas and chopping blocks.
7. Use it to snuff out small grease fires.
8. Add a teaspoon of it to a half of a glass of water and rinse your mouth to neutralize bad breath.

If you use your imagination, you can come up with many more things that baking soda can clean.
